Northwest Technical Institute is proud to combine efforts with the NWA Homebuilder’s Association to further the training of our students through the generous scholarship opportunity made possible by the NWAHBA Foundation. They are wonderful community partners that deeply invest in the training of those looking to broaden their skills and launch into a successful career path.

– Gretchen Sawyer, Program Manager

Partnering with NWA Home Builders’ Association has given NWACC a chance to form relationships with contractors in the area we would not have otherwise been able to connect with. As a direct result of our involvement, we have placed several of our students in internships with local employers, good paying jobs, and scholarships to fund their educations within our Construction Technology degree plan. NWAHBA has brought us all to the table together and created a win-win-win for our degree program, local builders, and the students we serve. I encourage anyone to get involved in their local HBA.

– Jerod Bradshaw, Program Coordinator

“We thank the Northwest Arkansas Home Builders Association for their support of our Introduction to Skilled Trades class.  This is the first step in providing more career opportunities to our students in Fayetteville Public Schools as we strive to offer career and technical education courses which reflect workforce and labor market needs.”

Director of Career & Technical Education
