Over 20 builders and members from the NWAHBA attended a Fayetteville Planning Commision meeting on Monday, October 20th. The meeting was scheduled to push a new Residential Design Code through to Fayetteville City COuncil, but it was tabled due to the overwhelming response of local builders and NWA Home Buliders Association members.

The Long Range Planning Committee has invited builders to a focus group meeting to discuss new Subdivision Design Standards. The focus group discussion will be 5-6PM on November 27, 2018, in Room 111 of City Hall in Fayetteville. The committee is requesting input and discussion on how the elements in the new standards would specifically affect the cost of home and subdivision construction, along with other ideas and suggestions to improve neighborhood safety and character or reduce cost.

If you are interested in attending this meeting, please contact Matt Hoffman. The RSVP deadline had passed, but still plan to attend. You are welcome to email comments or discuss the project with the NWAHBA prior to the meeting; contact Shanna at eo@nwabuilders.com.
